Pre-Alpha software to help you run your RPGs campaigns with. Either fully online or in person with your devices.

Aimed Features

list of main features informing the development. Some (or most) are not implemented at this time.

  • Play any system

    – All the rules are described in TOML files, designed for the human editing them, not the machine reading them

  • Self-hostable

    – Will always be self-hostable on any sever or single board computer you own. This is a promise.

  • Desktop client

    – Not constrained to a browser, take advantage of a native built desktop application, which will allow you to use your OS shortcut to work with multiple windows.

  • But with web app

    – Not everyone will want to download it, so the web app will have all essential features.

  • Local hosting

    – Run it directly on a pc at your table, and all the player around will be able to join, no need for the web

  • Low resources

    – Uses as little as possible, but as much as necessary. Friendly to low connection speeds and ram

  • Easy backup

    – Never lose your campaign with easy export and import that can compress it to a single file.

  • Store images anywhere

    – All your beautiful artwork can be delivered from any resource online or through the dice-net server.

  • Deep localization

    – Localizable everything, from game system to resources in game. Make sure only your elf is reading elvish

  • Bridging to the real world

    – Interface with electronics addons, or your “smart” lighting.

  • And possibly more

    – Ideas aren’t linear, so as development progress new feature may be thought of

Development
